Tungsten Powder
Tungsten is a silvery white lustrous metal. Its chemical element symbol is W, atomic number is 74, relative atomic mass is 183.85, atomic radius is 137 PIM, density is 19.35g/cm3. Tungsten has high melting point, high hardness, low vapor pressure, low evaporation rate and stable chemical properties.
Tungsten Powder Application
The tungsten powder we provide has the characteristics of high purity, uniform particle size, spherical shape. It can be applied to the following situations:
1. For the production of cemented carbide and ferrotungsten;
2. The heat-resistant and wear-resistant alloy composed of tungsten, chromium, molybdenum and cobalt can be used to make cutting tools, metal surface hardening materials, gas turbine blades and combustion tubes, etc;
3. W-Cu and W-Ag alloys can be used as electrical contact materials;
4. High density W-Ni-Cu alloy is used as radiation protection screen;
5. Tungsten powder can be sintered into filters with various porosity;
6. Tungsten powder is the main raw material for processing powder metallurgy tungsten products and tungsten alloys;
7. Pure tungsten powder can be made into wire, rod, tube, plate and other processing materials and products of certain shape;
8. Tungsten powder mixed with other metal powders can be made into various tungsten alloys, such as tungsten molybdenum alloy, tungsten rhenium alloy, tungsten copper alloy and high density tungsten alloy;
9. It can be made into tungsten carbide powder and then made into cemented carbide tools, such as turning tools, milling cutters, drills and moulds.
