Calcium Fluoride Powder
Calcium fluoride is a kind of colorless crystal or white powder. The chemical formula is CaF2. The molecular weight is 78.0748. The boiling point is 2500 ℃. The density is 3.18 g/cm3. CaF2 is insoluble in water and slightly soluble in inorganic acid. It reacts with hot concentrated sulfuric acid to form hydrofluoric acid.
Calcium Fluoride Powder Application
Calcium fluoride powder can be used in many occasions, the details are as follows:
1. For iron and steel smelting and ferroalloy production, iron smelting process and non-ferrous metal smelting;
2. It is used to produce hydrofluoric acid;
3. Used in glass, ceramics, cement and other building materials industry;
4. It can be used as flux and shading agent to promote the melting of glass raw materials;
5. The mineralizer is used in cement production to reduce the sintering temperature and fuel consumption of the furnace charge. At the same time, it can enhance the liquid phase viscosity of the clinker during sintering and promote the formation of tricalcium silicate;
6. Used as glaze;
7. Used in enamel industry and casting stone production.
