Barium Fluoride Powder

Barium fluoride is a kind of colorless transparent cubic crystal or white powder. The chemical formula is BaF2. The relative density is 4.83. The melting point is 1368 ℃. The boiling point is 2260 ℃. The refractive index is 1.471. Barium fluoride is soluble in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, ammonium chloride, methanol, ethanol and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in water.
