Titanium Carbonitride Powder
Titanium carbonitride is a kind of NaCl type carbide with face centered cubic lattice. The molecular formula is TiCN. TiC and TiN are the basis of TiCN, which makes TiN and TiC form continuous solid solution.
Titanium carbonitride powder is a typical transition metal carbide powder. Its appearance is black. Titanium carbonitride powder has a face centered cubic (FCC) lattice of NaCl type structure, and has the properties of TiC and TiN. It has the characteristics of high melting point, high hardness, wear resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. It has good thermal conductivity, conductivity and chemical stability. Titanium carbonitride powder is the main raw material for manufacturing titanium carbonitride based cermet tools.
Titanium carbonitride powder can be used in cermet. Under the same cutting conditions, the wear resistance of TiCN based cermets is much higher than that of WC based cermets and coated cermets. At high speed, the wear resistance of TiCN based cermet is 5-8 times higher than that of YT14 and YT15 alloy, 0.3-1.3 times higher than that of YC10 alloy and 0.5-3 times higher than that of coated cermet.
Titanium Carbonitride Powder Application
Our titanium carbonitride powder has the characteristics of high melting point, high hardness, wear resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. It has good thermal conductivity, conductivity and chemical stability. It can be used in the following situations:
